Forged & Hewn was founded by a mother-daughter team, Aimee & Macey, in 2023 after realizing there was a gap in the market for quality outdoor fires and furniture that were both attractive & functional. Our family has been in the steel and manufacturing business for over 25 years, and we suddenly realized we had the prime opportunity to give the people what we always wanted - Quality products that make sense, with the option of their own personal touch. Forged & Hewn is owned by women, and run by family. And as a family business, we would love for you to get to know us a little better. Aimee and Steven were both born and raised in Texas, and Steven started in the manufacturing and steel business shortly after they were married while they raised their 3 children together - Macey, Holden, & Bowen. Aimee and Macey were always excited and passionate about interior design, and their love for animals and the outdoors. Holden follows closely in Steven's footsteps as a talented craftsman and designer, being hands on even from toddler age. Bowen is the youngest of the trio, and takes much after Aimee with his intense love of animals, and has begun to follow after Steven, learning the manufacturing business and design.

Enviornment

At F&H, we care about the planet. That's why we use sustainable materials, rather than cheaper and more fragile forever-plastics for our products. We use biodegradable packaging products, and we run our shop in the most sustainable manner possible; using efficient technology and lots of hands-on work to save energy. We do not compromise quality, or the planet, to make attractive products that make sense!

Quality

We use steel and wood for ALL of our products. Steel is extremely strong and long lasting, and with our experienced and talented family team we make sure every item is bent, assembled, and welded to the highest standard, ensuring a long lasting product. We don't use glue or other flimsy methods of assembly, and our quality control processes ensure every product fits together as it should, and will withstand the test of time. Steel is also much more resistant to rust than our common counterparts products, usually made from aluminum. All of our wood products are appropriately treated to stay strong and beautiful. Forged & Hewn ensures strength without compromising on aesthetic!

Location

We are based deep in the heart of Texas! One of the biggest shipping and manufacturing areas in the country. This places us in an ideal location for quality and speed! We are an online shop, so you won't be able to visit us in person. That's why our team are ready to answer any questions you may have, and there are detailed descriptions of each of our products!
